What is the World Cup group stage schedule

The World Cup in 2022 will begin with 32 teams divided into eight four-team groups:

Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, and the Netherlands are in Group A.

England, Iran, the United States, and Wales are in Group B.

Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Poland are in Group C.

France, Australia, Denmark, and Tunisia are in Group D.

Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, and Japan are in Group E.

Belgium, Canada, Morocco, and Croatia are in Group F.

Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon are in Group G.

Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, and South Korea are in Group H.

What is the format and timetable for the World Cup?

During the group stage, four matches will be played each day over the course of 12 days, with the winners and runners-up progressing to the round of 16.

On December 17, unlike Euro 2020, a third-place play-off game will be held.

All kick-off timings in the United Kingdom are on Monday, November 21.
